In a written statement, the Al-Azhar institution in Egypt called on Arab and Islamic countries to “reject the relocation plans that aim to liquidate the Palestinian cause”. The statement invited support for the stance of Egypt and Arab countries on the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip, with the condition that the Palestinian people remain on their land.

The statement also called for the implementation of the ceasefire agreement reached in Gaza and urged world leaders to carefully consider the impact of their statements on the future of nations.
