WORLD CHILDREN’S RIGHTS DAY IN GAZA

n November 20, 1989, the United Nations (UN) General Assembly adopted the Convention on the Rights of the Child by 193 countries to protect children and improve their living conditions and declared November 20 as “World Children’s Rights Day”. Children gathered in Khan Younis, Gaza to call on the UN Secretary-General to stop the war and ensure the right to education, play, and a safe life.
